The Situation
I was asked by a client to create a logo for their meeting and events company that they were trying to start up. Incorporating the color red and a black woman in a red dress into the logo.

The Task
The goal was to incorporate the two requested elements from the client into the logo. Being able to represent the company well and create a visually pleasing and well-structured logo. To me, being successful means creating a logo concept that the client will love and use for years on end.
The Action
The steps I followed were making a bunch of rough compositions of possible logo choices for my client to choose from. After the client chose the two main logo compositions she liked, I refined the logo compositions of choice and sent them for final review. I played around with how I can have the woman incorporated on the capital “U” and the positioning of the full logotype with the entire company name.

The Results
This was successful in my mind because the client loved the logo and applied it to consulting papers, t-shirts, and other types of media. This is one of my first pieces of client work, so to receive a reaction like that and see my work showcased by someone else was a very proud moment in my eyes. I accomplished my goals because the final product was what the client was looking for.

The Change
Client wanted a new logo since they had a newfound direction of what they wanted to do for their business. So the client requested the "U" with a rose ontop of it specifically placed at the left bar of "U"
