Concept: Spotify Wrapped Video
The Situation
I was inspired by the Spotify Wrapped videos that were released (very recent at the time). I presented the concept of doing an "NC A&T Lady Aggies Wrapped" post carousel to the coach. The coach loved the idea after I broke down the concept some more. Initially, but later on turned it into a video after being inspired and realizing how far I can go with my creativity.

The Task
The goal for this assignment was to create an NC A&T Lady Aggies-themed Spotify Wrapped Video to showcase the phenomenal year the team has had in a fun and creative way. I am doing this because I was given creative discretion, and music is one of my favorite passions. So, I decided to incorporate the two into one.
The Action
The steps that I followed were looking at the 2025 Spotify Wrapped Videos. Looking at the design, font used, and animation of each frame. Trying to see how I can implement the brand colors of the NC A&T and create my own composition. Creating the design frames in Photoshop. Then, in After Effects, create the video with natural swiping animation and pacing. Giving the user a realistic experience and enough time to read the information presented to them.

The Result
This was one of the most creative projects that I have ever done. This is my first time doing an After Effects project outside of college classes. Using the skills I have been learning this semester from the Dynamic Screen-Based Typography Class. Im truly glad I made this project detailed and expressed more creative direction than my initial idea. Im very proud of myself, especially in the short span of time I made this.
