The Situation
I was selected to create the official program cover artwork for the ALANA celebration at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, honoring and celebrating individuals of African American, Latinx, Asian, and Native American descent.

The Task
To create artwork that reflected the spirit and values of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth ALANA programming by incorporating themes of culture, heritage, identity, community, belonging, unity, and the celebration of student success.
The Action
I developed a design concept centered around culture, heritage, identity, and community by combining symbolic visuals, cohesive typography, and vibrant colors to create artwork that celebrated diversity, belonging, unity, and student success.
